Hammarby Sjöstad, A new generation of sustainable urban eco-district Located along the Hammarby waterway, this newly built, eco-conscious neighborhood has been heralded as a model of sustainable urban development, a place where one can already glimpse the future of city living.

For now, one can stroll along new waterfront walkways, explore a handful of boutiques stocked with antiques and secondhand wares, and have fika (a Swedish coffee break) at cafes like Magnus Johansson Bageri & Konditori, where the Prinsesstårta, a cream-filled cake draped with green marzipan, is alone worth a visit to the area. But the biggest draw is Nya Carnegiebryggeriet, a brewery housed in a former light bulb factory. It opened in 2014 in a collaboration between Carlsberg and Brooklyn Brewery. (text from The New York Times)

There are a lot of nice and good restaurants everything from gastro bistros to great fast food alternatives, coffee places and cosy bars. You are close to several good ecological food markets as well as great super markets, bakeries, jucing, pharmacies, flower stores, some interior and fashion shopping in the area there are several gyms close by where you can work out.
The connections are very convenient and easy; 7 minutes by bus to Skanstull, and 3 metro stop to Old Town, or 4 metro stop to T-centralen, In Old Town you are easily connected to the ferry to Djurgården where many of the museums are located and other tourist attractions

Arrival past 22H00 costs an extra 200 SEK
