The New York Times – Hornstull

The New York Times write about Hornstull in Stockholm

Years ago, when gentrification swept across the island of Sodermalm in the south of Stockholm, it mostly skipped over the neighborhood of Hornstull. The area, on the island’s western edge, still maintained its seedy reputation and an unsavory nickname, Knivsoder, which references a knife, owing to a (relatively) high crime rate. But a transformation is under way, most visibly in the modernization of a previously dingy metro station and the construction of two plazas, now filled with shops and restaurants. Among the recent openings, a handful of cool new spots stand out.
