Skansen is the world’s oldest open-air museum, founded in 1891, with a commitment to showing Swedish life, culture, nature and history from the 18th Century onwards. Apart from a zoo and an aquarium, there’s, among many other things, also a glassmaker, a pottery and a bakery as well as a church and plenty of green areas and ponds.
